My breasts are leaking again.

It’s become quite the cosmic lottery; in the ‘okay, it’s been a pretty ordinary week so what can we do to guild the lily’ kind of way.

When we went to Riley’s latest health check-up, I mentioned this annoying recurrence to the maternal nurse who nodded knowingly.

“The human body is quite astounding. You can understand why in some tribal societies, like in Africa, still, there are lactating mothers and grandmothers. It’s because of their close kinships.”

She went on a bit, but frankly she lost me at the lactating grandmothers.

And seeing Riley’s appointment was a month ago now, I don’t think it’s a vision that’s going to leave me anytime soon.

Because, at this rate, that’ll be me!
