Final book production meeting today. After which we’ll be ‘done’ – pending the viewing of the wet proofs which we’ll get back from Singapore mid-week. Then we will truly be ‘done’. Then it’s Champagne time!
I’ve been asked to put together and present a blogging workshop in the city – a ‘thinky’ one, to help budding writers do something like this. The more I think about it, the more exciting a prospect it is, actually. I might write more about it later once I’ve got some proper notes written down.
Last, the newspaper interview came out with me, but there’s no online link. I scanned it, but it’s not playing nice. Once I can open the file properly, I’ll upload it. I believe – and I can’t say too much – that ‘someone’ is looking at my short story for publication. This ‘someone’ is someone very important. Cross fingers and toes for me, please?
