Say you catch your son dunking toothbrushes into the toilet. Say these are brand new toothbrushes on top of all the other toothbrushes you’ve purchased in the previous months because this is his new hobby. Say the toilet is very clean. Say you hold the brushes in your hand and go, “Okay, do I chuck them again or can I soak these in boiling water or something? And even if I do get these as bacteria free as possible would I still use them?”

What would you do?

*sigh*

Boys. Are. Trouble.

******

Don’t worry, said toothbrushes (and all bathroom effluvia) are all either chucked out or put up very high out of reach.

******

What worries me more is the times I haven’t caught him.

Uugghhh…yuk.
