This is a photo of the washing machine in our holiday unit. As I was putting a load in the other day, I looked at it for a full…oh, I’d say fifteen seconds and this ran through my head: “600 MB? What would a washing machine need that much memory for? I don’t think it would even need memory? How high-tech can it be? Is it something to do with the spin cycle?”

Then I realised the ‘MB’ probably stood for something else other than Megabytes.
