This is a stanza from a poem by Doris Leadbetter, my old writing teacher and one of the greatest mentors of my life. I adored her, and miss her greatly. If I can get permission, one day I’d like to post the whole poem because it is excellent – as is all her poetry.
Coming up tomorrow: my BlogHer decision. I think. If I’ve made it by then. Which in all probability I haven’t. Because my brain has been temporarily replaced by a haunted fog and its ghost is calling the shots. This ghost enjoys sitting on the couch and watching the few latest House episodes.
