Looney Tunes Birthday Cake

When Keira said she wanted a Looney Tunes cake this year, I kept asking, “Really? Are you sure?” I mean she’s only seen a handful of Tweetie Bird episodes and I was waiting for her to change her mind. She kept insisting and I said, “Okay! Just don’t be disappointed on the day when it’s not fairies or something.” The selling point was that it had yellow sprinkles all over the side (which you can’t see here) and – if you didn’t already know, world, it’s like common knowledge – yellow is her favourite colour.

The cake? Good, isn’t it? Made by some jolly Frenchman named Ferguson Plarre.

My husband took the shot. I doubt he would make the ranks of food blogger photographer. Please ignore the stray chip, food wrapper, and rolled-up bit of cling film on the table. Just your typical party debris.
