October 9 (in the USA) sees the premiere of the above documentary about Eddie Izzard, and I happened to come across this trailer quite by accident the other night on YouTube. Which annoyed me a little, because then tiny bells started ringing in my head that I knew something about this already, but forgot to follow it up. And that is completely like me lately.

I’ve long been a fan of Izzard’s so I’m interested in seeing what the reviews/feedback of ‘Believe’ are as they come through over the next few weeks.

Toni McGee Causey has written a great post over at Murderati (a blog I haven’t visited in ages) about Positive and Negative Spaces and how the concept traditionally apply to architecture, but how she also thinks they can be applied to living and writing. Check it out if that sounds like your kind of thing.

Speaking of my mother (and, ironically, the concept of spaces), she will be visiting next week for a few days, which means:

a) I might be able to get this house cleaned up/cleaned out a little
b) I might be able to get some writing work done myself

I have – perhaps foolishly, perhaps brilliantly – signed up for National Novel Writing Month this year, and *might* do the same for National Blog Posting Month, but I admit the latter is looking unlikely, which is a shame as I think I’ve done it every year since I started blogging.

But you should totally do it, because you’re so going to write something brilliant for my book, aren’t you?

Anyway, so while mum’s here I hope to get a little prep work done for NaNoWriMo. That’s the plan, at least.
