I took this mid-afternoon sometime on New Years Eve. Thanks to some new insulation in the roof I was able to keep the air conditioning off until after lunch (it was a very hot day), but then the heat just got too bad, so on it went. This explains the Wolf Hall on the bed, for occasionally I had to use it as a weight when the fan came on gustily and threatened my paper piles. These are but some of the submissions I ended up receiving.

I will be very busy over these next few weeks, so forgive me if things around here get a little quiet.
