I bought these in almost perfect condition, which should have set off alarm bells. The first time I put them on was to walk to a friends house about 2kms away and by the time I got there I was hobbling with blisters galore. I came this close to re-recycling them and wondered if the previous owner had the same problem. But I persisted (and have worn thicker socks since) and they’ve been fine.
marc ecko’s retail from US$60 so I think I’ve done well. I get commented on them a lot – although those comments range from “Cool sneakers!” to “Oh, they’re … interesting.”
