This dress will be just perfect for Melbourne in winter.
Pluses:
* It has sleeves
* It is a thick material
* The neutral colour helps me in that I can wear several types of opaque stocking and they won’t look weird
* It’s a Cue and they are quality
These shoes? Disaster.
Why:
* I feel extraordinarily unstable in them. Now I’m not afraid of a nice heel, and I’m afraid of these. When the kids get in my cupboard to dress-up I am quick to say “Out of those! You’ll break your ankle.”
* I keep forgetting when I buy sandals that I have really, truly, ugly feet and they are best hidden away from judging eyes.
I saw these sandals on sale recently for about $80, and full price they’d be almost double that. Perhaps they’ll end up on ebay, but we’ll see. Such a shame. Maybe I just need to HTFU.
