• Newsletter

I’ve created a newsletter which you may subscribe to here. This has been a rather long time coming – and not because I’ve seen a lot of other blogs and businesses doing it. It will only be occasional, perhaps once a quarter, and will delight you. Really.

I’m planning on including writing/competition/submission deadline prompts for the writers and baby-writers out there, including opportunities for children too.

I did try to get a widget to work in my sidebar, but failed. There is a little link there, dwarfed by other bigger boxes. I’ll work on it some more when I get the time.

  • Pinterest

After having an invite sitting in my inbox for over two months (!), I finally set up an account last night. If you follow the link you will see I’ve no ‘pins’ so far and that’s because I was frightened away by the giant wall of delights there were to see. Sensory overload! I shall have to make a rule to only visit after naps or baths. Then I shall be relaxed.

  • Webcam

Thanks to Google and a Yahoo! Answers page that dates back four years (yes, FOUR – my technology is that dated) I’ve finally been able to find the right drivers to install on my laptop to get the webcam to work. I did it! Alone! More vlogs for all!

I bragged about my tech savvy to Adam who immediately turned around and insisted he’s gotten it to work just fine in the past. I’m sure he even threw in a “Neener, Neener” in there somewhere.

Needless to say, relations went temporarily icy.

I must sign off now, even though I feel like this is a post half-finished. Will be back later x
