I’m excited to be able to share with you today a very cool campaign going on at the moment. The Good Guys are giving a blogger the opportunity to be considered for the role of The Good Guys Home Chef Blogger. This contract will include amazing prizes such as The Good Guys kitchen appliances, Coles vouchers for recipe road testing, The Good Guys Gift Cards, and an iPad2. If that wasn’t enough: a five night Jamie Oliver-inspired foodie-trip to London!

Not only that, the four finalists will have the opportunity to visit Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food in Ipswich, Queensland, to cook with Jamie himself.

There’s an opportunity for the non-writers too: The Good Guys Facebook community will be able to vote for their favourite blogger in the competition and, just by voting, will all go into the draw to win one of five foodie-prizes worth $300. There’s also the chance to win tickets to Jamie Oliver’s only speaking engagement in Australia this year on March 6th at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne. The four Home Chef Blogger finalists will also be flown in for this event. For more details about this competition head on over and check out the details and terms and conditions.

And that’s not all…

The Good Guys have two prize packs available for my wonderful Miscellaneous Mum readers: each winner will receive a copy of Jamie’s Ministry of Food Cookbook and a The Good Guys $50 Gift Card.

All you need to do to enter is leave a comment saying what kind of recipe have you always dreamed to cook but not yet attempted? Have any of Jamie’s recipes been a particular inspiration? Or perhaps one of my ‘1 recipe a week’ challenges?

Fine print:

  • Entrant must be an Australian resident.
  • You must leave a valid, regularly checked email address. I reserve the right to redraw if contact cannot be made.
  • Only one entry per person.
  • Winners will be chosen by a random number generator.

The Good Guys Home Chef Blogger Competition closes on the 20th February. My Miscellaneous Mum Competition closes on the 27th February at 8pm.

Better get cracking! Good luck!

Edit: competition has now closed. I’ll contact the winners shortly.
