Hey, look, in case I’ve given the wrong impression as to what’s been happening around here lately, rest assured it hasn’t just been a case of the “HAUS OF TEH MOPEY, SAD BLOGGER.” We’ve not been sitting around drawing teardrops each other’s cheeks, watching flower heads wilt and droop in their vases to an ever-looped track of Tears for Fears singing ‘Mad World.’

See?

Before Shot

After Shot

Indeed, we’ve been industrious citizens! And by ‘we’ I mean ‘everyone else but Karen’, of course, except for Adam who’s been away for work (I didn’t tell that story about him going away in the middle of my recovery because – OMG – I felt… oh… shall we say great umbrage at the timing).

Proof of said activity can be seen above, all thanks in this instance goes to my mother who has been staying with us to help out. Look at that silverbeet – what a survivor.

And with that I might sign off for the weekend, but first a reminder to anyone who might be interested: I sent out a miscmum newsletter last night. If you’d like to sign up for it, just look at the right sidebar and you can see the box there. Otherwise, here’s a convenient link.

Take care x
