The October/November issue of Bookseller+Publisher Magazine has the first review of Crying in the Car: Reflections on Life and Motherhood.

With their kind permission, I’ve attached it below:

I’m pretty chuffed!

Those of you interested in pre-ordering, the link to put your name down is here. (Thanks to all of you who’ve done so – your support is amazing). Or, if you’d like to go in and buy it in a bricks-and-mortar store, that is absolutely fine! Still working on the ebook situation – will notify once that’s sorted.

I’ve created a Facebook event for the book launch on December 1st – you can find it here. I’ve started invited people, but if I’ve not invited you – and you perhaps felt I should’ve – I do apologise. I would love to see you all! I just know some people dislike Facebook entirely, or are rarely on or have already told me they’re coming.

I think that’s all for the moment.

No, wait! One last thing: I’ll be in Sydney this weekend for the Emerging Writers’ Festival Roadshow. It’s on Saturday and will be excellent – here’s the program, look at all the talented folk!

Additionally, I’ll be co-hosting another event on the Sunday ‘Writing about Writing‘ at Newtown. There’s a Facebook event for that too! Do come along!

Signing off for now x
