I made this especially for a girlfriend’s birthday and honestly don’t know why I’ve never made a cheesecake before because it was so easy. They’re one of my favourite cakes. This is a Jamie Oliver recipe, except his had a blueberry topping.
Notes
I almost forgot to add the zest he recommends, and it really needs that little bit of zing to it, so don’t forget!
Jamie suggests putting aluminum foil over the cake while it is baking so it doesn’t go too dark. That’s what I did.
Ignore the crack on the top – it tastes so good.
