Blake Daniel is a dedicated personal assistant service, and they recently gave me an opportunity to commence a silver subscription for a month.

March has been very busy, but what I haven’t written about is how Adam and I have been dabbling with the idea of renovating half of the house. We did the first half in March (ha!) 2010  – right when I was in the midst of helping organise the Aussie Bloggers Conference, re-branded to the Digital Parents Conference – and now are in the will-we-won’t-we hop-stepping about the second half.

Chris, my lovely PA, among other jobs, arranged for a procession of tradies to come past to give us quotes on floorboards. He also made appointments for me, did a little research on certain subjects, some software assistance. I can’t say how much of a help it was to draft up a list of ‘to-dos’ and pass it along, rather than having to worry about it myself. Luxury!

My hat is off to Blake Daniel’s customer service, as Chris’s turnaround for task completion was always prompt and courteous. Any suggestions on my part to changes and revisions were taken on board in a similar fashion.

And I admit I was quite sad once my time was up!

Subscriptions to Blake Daniel are available as Silver ($199.99), Gold ($399.99) or Platinum ($599.99) monthly packages.

As I said earlier, they can help you with organising appointments, but also such things as time management, travel arrangements, client establishment and relationship maintenance. They are serious about keeping you happy, so offer a full refund if you’re not satisfied within the first 30 days.

They can be found on Facebook, too.

Even better, they would like to extend their offer to having one of their assistants to work for you for a month (ie a Silver Subscription)!
