Every year I try to do something in the spirit of giving back to the community; very important, I think, at this particular time when it is so easy to get fixated on what we might receive. This is why I created my Profits Promise back in 2008 and ever since I have held a ‘Christmas Card Challenge’. It’s pretty simple: for each commenter on the blog that I have received since the previous Boxing Day I will donate the amount of a postage stamp. I then email all these people on Christmas Eve with the total amount of money collectively raised. These funds will now be channeled towards a specific goal: ‘To provide money for a study scholarship’.
So, please. If you’re a lurker, de-lurk. You’ll be making a difference. x
