My home does not look like this.
I don’t read blogs that feature houses looking like this, or read the magazines either. There are people who drop a casual eighty dollars on a cushion, but I’m not one of them. Now, I don’t have anything against the smooth and pretty and shiny either – I’m a neutral pH 7.
And then, on the odd occasion when I do try to make an improvement, I often change my mind if I even like it!
Is this to say I don’t neaten up the ‘fringes’ around the places where I take photos at home, to at least make it look a bit better? Well, I do.
Not in the below picture, though.
I took this photo six weeks ago (time flies when you’re busy) to give a honest look at where I blog (and occasionally write), not to be ashamed but to be fine. Because I am. You do what you do where you can, is my motto.
