I’ve done a few teasers about this over the months, and there’s been some delays, but on Friday I offically kicked off my #miscpoetry project.

I’m the first person to say that social media can be used for creative/artistic purposes, so I thought I ought to actually do the same, in this instance along similar lines to my ‘Month of Poetry’ Twitter poems. To that end, every Friday between now and the end of October I will be Instagram-ing these micro poems, such as you see below:

(A couple of these #miscpoetry poems will be from this year’s ‘Month of Poetry’ – in case they look familiar. If you remember, that is!)

I will also put them to on Facebook page*. But I won’t blog about it here again until the project is over.

I have a longer post cooking about certain feelings I’ve been having about Blogging (the capital B is intentional), and this project feeds into that (it’s just over a month until this blog’s eighth birthday, so I usually get reflective at around this time).

If you have any comments/thoughts/words of encouragement, do let me know! x

* And maybe Twitter – I haven’t decided.
