my creative process 16

Have you ever thought you would love to learn how to write a short story or poem but have no idea where to start? Do you want to improve your writing? You might even have a novel in you. Submit your work to publications? Incorporate creativity into your daily life?

I have worked as a writer for many years and have asked myself the above questions – and more – over this time.

I constantly talk with aspiring writers and bloggers. When I ask what their hardest obstacle is, the answer is often the same: just getting started.

Whether you blog, write, journal or secretly scribble, this course will help build confidence and provide you with tools and guidance to set you upon your own creative path.

How does the course work?

The course will be delivered online over an eight week period. Each module will be released at the start of the week and there will be a live Facebook chat at the end of the week (in a closed group for participants) to discuss thoughts and findings.

Of course, I will be available to answer questions during the course and will offer a free read through of a piece that is ready for submission to offer feedback.

When is it?

Next year! It will begin at the end of January 2015 – students will be (hopefully!) fresh from holiday time and energised to get started. I was going to start at the end of 2014, but I think the frantic scramble lead-up time to Christmas will be a bit much!

If I’ve intrigued your interest and you would like to go on the mailing list to keep up to date with more information, specific dates, pricing and more you can do so here. Might be a good idea: subscribers will be offered a discount. Shh.

That’s it from me for today. If you have any questions, please ask!
