But that didn’t happen in this movie – nor would you want to. I really enjoyed it, and what I liked about it most of all was that it was an appropriate superhero-style movie for younger kids. It fits in perfectly, and strikes right notes in terms of showing adventure while modelling responsible behaviour: vengeance, for example, has dire consequences. Friendship is very important too – and it is an interesting friendship circle, as the protagonist, Hiro, is many years younger than his compatriots. That gap is filled by the wonderful Baymax, the inflatable healthcare robot, and their relationship is the real heart of the movie. I admit to a tear in my eye on more than one occasion. Recommended.
