This year-long Friday celebrations series is my way of documenting the good things that have passed my way during the week and being mindful of these, and more.
- Keira was invested into Scouts. (More badges for me to sew! Yippee!)
- Speaking of Keira, she has begun to read these:
- This supercut of 280 films to make the song Uptown Funk is quite spectacular.
- It’s been the week of new movie trailers. The first being Deadpool. (Note: this is the adult version.)
- And because I’m such a child of the 90s, I giggled at the Zoolander 2 teaser.
- Over at io9, I discovered David Lynch’s 1968 short film The Alphabet. Weird, dark and hypnotic – and something I will not be showing Riley. Because nightmares.
- Last, Buzzfeed asks Who Was Your First Literary Crush?. I’m really stumped to think of an answer because I had so many and it’s hard to remember where they fell in my timeline. I want to say something lofty and cerebral like Mr Rochester, but that was high school and I definitely had crushes as early as primary school. Leave it with me. Who was yours?
