This year-long Friday celebrations series is my way of documenting the good things that have passed my way during the week and being mindful of these, and more.
As I mentioned in my last post, we’ve been travelling around mid-western NSW to see family, but as of 4pm this afternoon – to the minute, we were following along on the GPS – we pulled into our driveway again. Home.
Home.
Such a lovely word! Sure there’s unpacking, and the neverending question of dinner and mail to sort through, not to mention the general bleariness nine hours in a car will give you, but none of that matters!
Here’s what else I’m celebrating this week:
- I’d like to thank those of you who commented and emailed privately about what I talked about the other day. I’m okay, really. Truly. It’s an end, not the end! The support was lovely – and it helped.
- This post ‘48 Books You Need To Read In Your 30s‘ caught my eye. As I’m (just) on the older side of the mid-30s, I figure I better get cracking as I’ve only read one of the books listed.
- On the subject of books again this article will be welcomed to paper-lovers: ‘The Plot Twist: E-Book Sales Slip, and Print Is Far From Dead.
- The weather forecast for the next few days in Melbourne is very good. Hooray!
This is a short-and-sweet update. Have a lovely weekend.
