This year-long Friday celebrations series is my way of documenting the good things that have passed my way during the week and being mindful of these, and more.

friday

It has been a pretty tricky week. Daylight savings, in particular, has thrown me right out of sync. To be honest, I was shocked when I realised this morning that it’s already Friday. I had a crisis moment (‘What have I done?’ ‘What haven’t I done!?’) and I’m trying to block those out. So this post will help – I hope! – focus on the positives.

1. Riley was made a Second (second-in-command) of his Cub Scout group this week. He’s very pleased.
2. Book sales have spiked a bit after this post the other week – I didn’t write it as a part of a marketing strategy to coerce sales via guilt or pity. Not at all! I just want to make that clear. But my thanks for all your support.
3. My Fibromyalgia has flared up again. This isn’t a ‘celebration’, although I suppose I’m choosing to interpret it as a reminder to look after myself better. Or try to. So I re-visited this terrific video by Dr. Sara Gottfried where she gives a lecture and advice about cortisol and stress levels, put the earthing mat back on the bed and will focus on nutrition for the next little while.

I’m sorry, this is really short. x What are you celebrating this week?

Gentle reminder: Early bird rates for My Creative Process ecourse close on the 18th October.
