Friday Celebrations (3)

In the next five minutes – literally! – we’re off to Pax Australia for the day. I have no idea what to expect (it was a present from Adam), but it’s a gorgeous day in Melbourne and I’m sure it’s going to be interesting.

The above photo is from a few days ago and I can’t get it out of my head because I don’t have a clue which species bird it’s from – do you? I’d like to know!

This week I’ve had some nice pieces of writing news – a poem acceptance and a shortlisting in a short story writing competition. The competition winner is still to be announced, so that’s exciting too. I mention this because the poem was one of my #julycreativechallenge and the short story was an exercise I gave myself when I needed to take a breather from my novel. These little tests and experiments pay off! If you need the confidence to do the same, you have until tomorrow night to enroll in My Creative Process. I’ll help you x

Have a good weekend! x Happy halloween.
