vacation

Okay, so here’s the situation. (Not that it’s really a ‘situation’, a term loaded with spy-like urgency, implying something is more dire than what first appear.)

Following on from my post on Wednesday, I’m going to step away from the blog for a tiny while. Let’s call it a spring break. One week, possibly two, if I can bear to stay away that long. The reasons are varied, and these include, but are not limited to, those deadlines I set myself which happen to land at precisely the same time Adam is set to be travelling for work. Anyone who knows me knows the goals I’m quiet about are traditionally the ones I get finished, whereas the others I make mention on here often get left behind, but just this once I’d like that to not be true. Just how much of a novel can get written in a week? It’s a fair question and I guess I’ll find out. The thing is, for me, once I’m going, I stay going. It’s the starting that can be a problem.

Also, next year, just quietly, is already getting busy. I’ll tell you more later, but for now I need to get my head around a lot of that in advance so it doesn’t creep up on me.

I will be back in November – and I’ll be ticking off another Living List item, thanks to the assistance of some very cool peeps. To give you a hint: I’m excited, but also a tad nervous. Can you guess what it is?!
