The blogging workshop I was set to teach on Wednesday night has unfortunately been cancelled. We couldn’t quite get enough registrations to fall over the line. Coming so close to the holiday season, I’m not surprised and am a little saddened as I was looking forward to it – although it may be re-scheduled for next year.

But it did get me thinking. In late January 09, just before school goes back and so most of us will be back from our holidays, I was considering hiring a room at the writers’ centre in the city and some interested local bloggers can get together and plan out our 2009 blogging calendars, in between some pretty interesting discussions about the nature of blogging and how it’s being played out in our lives. Only for a couple of hours or so. Then we can go to lunch, or out for drinks (depending on what time of day we’re holding it.)

What say you? Throw in just enough money to recoup the cost of hiring the room (which isn’t much)?

Who might be in? Email me, contact me, or leave a comment!
