Keira: Why are you wearing dad’s boxer shorts around the house?

Me: Because mine aren’t fitting very well at the moment.

Keira: Why?

Riley: Why? (Oh, yes, he’s hit the ‘why?’ stage. Asks it every other minute)

Me: Because they’re a bit tight.

Keira: Did they shrink in the wash?

Me: No. (I wish)

Keira: Well that was a bit silly packing shorts that don’t fit.

Me: Touche’

Truth is, that post from last week has turned out to be rather prophetic, and I’m taking myself off shopping today to find a forgiving beach-tunic style dress. I saw in the weekend newspaper they were dissing mumu’s this season, but I say hey, don’t judge, guys. Keep it nice.

I could blame it on the salty sea air, right? Excess salt in the body makes you retain water = makes you bloaty = and my body isn’t used to the beach yet so this is obviously a temporary period of transition, right?

Right?

Heh. Didn’t think so.
