Before I do a big reveal post on how our brand new floorboards look, I can’t help but smile and marvel a little about the appropriate timing of today’s giveaway.
Oneflare is celebrating the launch of their new (free) iPhone app and I’ve been having a play to see what it can do. First, it has a clever multi-use purpose: you can browse home design ideas, much like the feel and way of Pinterest, and you can save these to your own Scrapbooks. Curating your inspiration is one thing, but the app goes one step further, offering a search for a number of home-related services – such as plumbers, electricians, painters and more – when you’re ready to tackle your small, or large, project.
This is very handy, if you want to bypass internet research or thumbing through possibly outdated directories. I did a service request for some painting that we need to do (that’s our next step) and I was told to look out for my texts and emails for the quotes to come through. Boy that saves a lot of chasing!
