manuscripts

The other manuscripts never materialised. Of course, they will now, those prodigal jesters. It’s Murphy’s Law.

The matchbox car of Riley’s is there to give some sort of perspective to the thickness of the documents, but I’m not sure if it worked or not. Think of it this way: the stack would’ve been twice as high if I hadn’t got these printed double-sided instead of single-sided, which I wanted. These were expensive enough.

Now for the rest of the year – and probably beyond! Who knows? – I’ll be going through these editing and re-writing. Mostly the latter. Especially the bottom book in the picture, the thicker one, which is the first book in a trilogy. The second book is on the top. The third book is still in my head.

They’re not good at the moment. I know it. But they can be.

And will be.

Someday.
