That's all folks

Here we are, 52 weeks later! A year! (Well, a little more as I missed a week or two along the way.)

This was my original purpose:

I thought I would start up a regular ‘Friday Celebrations’ series, showcasing the sorts of links, discoveries, happy progress or general WINS I’ve made over the course of the week. In sharing the joy, hopefully, you’ll be able to find something to celebrate as well.

It was one of those experiments I encourage new bloggers to try – in creating a series you create a reason to blog more regularly (if that’s a problem) AND the set expectation is a motivator to keep up the practice.

All true, of course. That doesn’t mean it’s not hard – and occasionally tedious – to write on the same topic every week. Especially if you’ve been busy and there’s not much news to report. I’m glad I did it – but even more glad to finish.

There’s a wonderful synchronicity to the date because I have some nice news to report.

Miscellaneous Press has been selected for the Small Press Network Mentorship Program, supported by Creative Victoria. I’m very excited to see what this NEXT year is going to hold! A clue: books!

And guess what’s going to be officially launching next week?
