Hello! I hope you had a great weekend.

Here’s a little of what we did …

Walking home from school

On Friday (yes, not technically the weekend, I know) we Walked to School and I piggybacked Riley home.

lime topping success!

Our family quest to source lime topping was finally successful.

Launching lion!

Keira decided to rig up a toy lion to a ‘flying fox’ sort of contraption…

…that worked!

Pencil-sharpening day

We did our annual cull-the-empty-texta-pens and sharpening-pencils drill.

mothers day mug

This is what Keira bought for me from the Mothers Day stall at school. I’m sipping tea from it right now, actually.

Other presents included:

death on the nile

I bought this for myself because I honestly love the occasional Agatha Christie tale. Sure, you could stop and dwell over the plot implausibilities if you wanted, but I prefer watching Ustinov’s and Finney’s vastly different interpretations of the Poirot character.

I also got a James May’s Toy Stories DVD, which I first suspected was Adam’s way of exacting revenge for the Bookseat but it’s actually quite charming.

I also bought myself more Hipstamatic equipment and these photos above (except the first, which was taken with Toy Camera) are demonstrations of what many of my newer combinations can do. If you click through to Flickr you can see what the exact specs are.

So! There you have it. I did very well.
