Yes, the time has come when we have double rows (confession: dear internet, my fingers want to type ‘double rainbow’) happening on our bookshelves again. Many of us Gen-X or Gen-Y folk will recognise those ‘Choose Your Own Adventures’ Adam snapped up during the second-hand book sales in the Atrium on the second Saturday of the Melbourne Writers’ Festival. I sat down with one of my former spooky favourites and worked my way through a story. Yes, again, like when I was ten, this happened:
