And it was!

Well, that’s it. Another NaBloPoMo over. I’ve finished feeling… reasonably satisfied, actually.

In brief, here’s a few reminders of what’s happened in case your reader got backed up and you clicked ‘mark all as read’. I’ll put my hand up, I’ve done it in the past. We’re still cool!

Anyhoo:

* I reminded lurkers who haven’t commented to do so to participate in my annual Christmas Card Challenge, this year raising money for BeyondBlue.
* I made a book vlog with Keira.
* I wrote another of my satirical blogger posts (which I’ve been doing for years, on and off).
* I have a giveaway going for 12 months supply of OMO Pods (entries are on the slow side – gotta be in it to win it!)
* I blogged my Christmas recommendations for Fiction, Non-Fiction and Picture Books. I’ve had a lot of feedback of purchases made on the strength of these. Excellent!
* I posted a poem that has been flagged as being possibly autobiographical? Certainly not! At least, not in the WOE IS US sense. We are hopeless at buying coconuts though, I must say.

I am going to write more about the month – and my dismal nanowrimo word count – at a later stage, to be guest-posted elsewhere. I know, I’m a tease. Sorry. You’ll find out more soon.

*

I’ve not made much of a big deal about it, although I have mentioned it over at my Facebook page (please to ‘like’?), but I’ve been experiencing quite bad TMJ pain. A trip to a remedial therapist today has also uncovered some issues I have with my C2 cervical vertebra. Add in the dental problems I had earlier this year – don’t worry, the list of wrongness is now complete! – and apparently there’s a perfect storm of badness going on in my head/neck region.

This is better news (I guess) and certainly more proactive than what the GP told me when I last went to see him: Got pain? HAVE VALIUM! I know we said no to it before, but now we’re saying yes! We turn on a dime! Next patient, please!

Now you’re really all up to date. We’re going to work on it with some truly unsexy exercises and more massage. I’ll do anything at this point. Last night I woke up and I couldn’t open my mouth, my jaw had locked. It took three attempts to click open. It’s a fright I don’t really want to repeat.

If you are participating in NaBloPoMo leave your name and link URL for the day in Mr Linky. If you’ve blogged about your NaNoWriMo or PiBoIdMo experiences you are welcome to leave your link as well. Please only use the Linky for these reasons and a link back here would be appreciated.

I’m supporting Movember this month. Here is my fundraiser page.
