okay so I was going to write today about several things which have been going through my otherwise frazzled mind this week like PIPES?! are they making a comeback? i’ve seen two men in the past two days walking down the street puffing on those old-fashioned babies and while I am not advocating smoking in any way it did strike me as a pleasantly uncanny sort of novelty kind of like when you attend a cultural festival and you see Clydesdale horses pulling along a cart and then I was going to write about a certain reality dancing star who I have a slight crush on and anyone who follows me on twitter will know who I’m talking about so last night in between the half-hour shifts of attending my sick son I thought why not for funsises I’d look up said dancer on Facebook and Lo! and Behold! there he was and then I realised I have more Facebook friends than he does and what the hell is up with that? All to point to the complex and baffling nature online social networks I still haven’t been able to academise in my head yet and before you ask I stopped myself as adding him as a friend because dudes that is bordering on the weird and I am not weird
