My latest post is up over at iVillage – a quick reflection on grand final weekends, as sport was such a fixture in my home as I grew up.

Here’s the link if you’d like a read.

We spent the day with friends, us leaving at the nine-hour mark. We only live a few minutes walk away, so we hurried home under a full moon in the sprinkling rain. Adam was piggybacking Keira and I made a joke that they looked like the BFG and Sophie, striding through the night; the very tall man and his adoring sidekick.

Good times – and not just because the Swans won!
