I’m in the final stages of proofing. This is a delicate, crucial point: for example, I found ‘top’ today when it was supposed to read ‘tap’. Yep, those sorts of mistakes you find and think, ‘Thank CHRIST I caught it’. I’m hoping you will excuse my distraction – I’ll be here properly later in the week.
However, my book-loving friends might be interested to see that I spent a great deal of time last night updating my ‘1001 Book Challenge ‘ page. Except now it’s close to the ‘Almost-1300 Book Challenge’, but that isn’t nearly as snappy a title.
