Following on from the other day, I feel like I need to clarify – or at least explain a little better – point #2 on my 2013 goals list.

In all honesty, since posting it I’ve been a bit squirmy, wondering if that really was the best phrase to use. I know ultimately it probably doesn’t make a lick of difference to many of you, but part of me has figured, ‘Well, if you can’t sort a simple list out, what’s the hope for the rest of the year?’

Also, over on my Facebook page Sarah made an excellent point when she remarked that blogging keeps writing flowing; rather than one impinging on the other, they can be complimentary activities. And I quite agree.

In short, I’m hot and thus confused (or confused, and thus hot) and I’ll keep swimming along in the writerly-slash-bloggery way I usually do. That should placate my brain for a while. At least until it’s wine hour.

In light of the above, those of you who have been reading for a while will know that January is Month of Poetry … er… month. Here’s today’s fare, prompted by my #fmsphotoaday shot (if you missed it, here’s my creativity interview with Chantelle from Fat Mum Slim). Hashtag worlds are colliding!
