Inside this EXTREMELY URGENT package is a complete plotter set* for Surprise! as well as some konica proofs** for some specific pages, including the cover, for me to approve prior to final printing release.
I’m very glad they sent it – in the book, on the last page, is a lift-the-flap (think the Spot books) and they’ve glued it on the left vertical instead of the top horizontal. But that’s an easy fix.
I can take the plotter to the Melbourne Writers’ Festival next month to show now before my talk, which is nice.
So we’re nearly there. In the home straight.
So why do I feel like vomiting?
Nerves are a bitch.
On the other hand, oh, my, it looks stunning.

** Certain pages printed out on the proper stock that will be used in the final print.
